Stockings for Kid Konnection

“Sidewalk Sunday Schools,” Pastors Teri Mullen spends each December gathering Christmas items for boys and girls from ages 2 to 13. To make Christmas special for inner-city children of Washington, D.C.’s public housing residents, they need 1,500
Christmas stockings filled with a variety of items.

Will you help make this season a success?

Use GREEN FELT for boy’s and RED FELT for girl’s stockings. Use this pattern and sew
them together on the outside, using either a zig-zag or straight stitch. Fill the stockings with NEW items. PLEASE – NO RAZORS! Stuff each stocking to the top and staple it shut. (Do not pin or sew the tops closed)

Please let us know how many stockings you, your church, or organization can make. Also make sure your PARCELS are labeled with your name, address and the amount of stockings included in the parcel.
LOCAL PEOPLE DC, MD AND VA:
Drop off points: Stockings should be dropped off no later than December 11,2009.
