Send relief packages to Haiti
January 16, 2010 | In: Ministries to help
Kids Power Company is partnering with our good friends at North Cleveland (TN) Church of God, in an effort to help with disaster relief for the people of Haiti. Operation KidPassion is the name of this relief effort. It is an outreach in which students are encouraged to get involved personally. They do this by filling a one-gallon size Ziploc bags with basic items that kids who have been orphaned and homeless due to the Earthquake need desperately (see list on the attachment document). This immediate need is great! Hundreds of thousands of people and orphan children are living on the street! Please read the attached flyer and encourage your kids to quickly get involved! We are also partnering with Operation Compassion to get all the items shipped to Haiti ASAP. Kids Power Company members please bring your bags, marked and filled according to the flyer, to KPC, no later than Sunday, January 24th. Our friends who are Kids Ministry leaders across the country, please encourage the kids in your church to get involved. For more information about Operation Kidpassion contact Chris Quinn at cquin@nccog.org.
